MEDITECH’s interoperability solutions improve patient care and provide the foundation for a solid population health strategy by supporting the active exchange of EHR data across care settings to meet a variety of needs. In this session, attendees will hear how MEDITECH has a long history of supporting interoperability initiatives, advocating for the use of common standards, and promoting information sharing. Membership in the CommonWell Health Alliance and the Argonaut Project are important to advancing interoperability and keeping MEDITECH customers at the forefront of national initiatives. Meaningful Use Stage 3 introduces additional requirements for C-CDA®, APIs, immunizations, syndromic surveillance, public health registries, and more, and MEDITECH is poised to meet these challenges. Stephen Valutkevich has been with MEDITECH over 21 years and has served in multiple capacities - first in Implementation for administrative products, then after several years moving to Marketing as a demonstrator, later switching to being a technical expert and presentation resource for Sales and Marketing for over 15 years, and most recently as a Product Solutions Manager in Marketing for Interoperability.
