Avera is in the process of moving from Client Server to 6.1. During this process there has been many discussions on all the benefits of 6.1 for the providers. This presentation will highlight the many benefits that the nursing staff will see when they move to 6.1. Greg Hartman has worked for Avera for the last eight years as a nurse. Over the last four years, he has been working in clinical informatics and his current focus is on the transition to MEDITECH 6.1. Greg’s patient care experience includes direct care for patients in Avera’s Cardio-Pulmonary unit. Greg is a former member of MEDITECH's Nursing Advisory Committee and has presented numerous times at the MEDITECH Nursing Forum as well as the MUSE Conference.
